    For parents/youth looking for a Middle School to attend next year.  Meet and greet the administrators who will share what the requirements are and the great culture and academic opportunities that are found at FDA2.  Hear about the basic curriculum, sports and other extracurricular activities including, robotics, dance, coding. photography and chess classes.

  • Harvest Night Dinner and Parent Association meeting and

    After a short Parent Association meeting, there will be an awards ceremony honoring certain scholars.  We will end the evening with food and beverage for all.

    Please come out, support and JOIN the Parent Association (PA) as they strive to bring support and services to the school.  A strong PA helps make your child's school a richer and healthier place in which to learn.  YOUR SUPPORT IS GREATLY NEEDED!

Mission Statement

We are a community of learners that encourages every Scholar to be an active participant in their education.  Fostering a safe, consistent environment, we celebrate each Scholar’s individual identity and success. Through a rigorous curriculum, cultural enrichment opportunities and experiential learning, we prepare our Scholars to achieve academic and personal  excellence.


2018-2019 Tools For Success

Scholars are required to have the following “tools” daily to ensure their success in school.  In addition to the supplies and materials listed below, individual teachers may require additional supplies.

  • One (1) sturdy academic book bag (String book bags are only permitted to carry a gym uniforms)
  • One (1) loose-leaf binder and eight (8) sectional dividers and two (2) pocket dividers
  • An ample supply of loose-leaf paper
  • Three (3) sharpened #2 pencils (which must be sharpened before class) or mechanical pencils
  • Two (2) black and white composition notebooks for journaling
  • Two (2) blue or black ink pens
  • One (1) highlighter
  • One (1) calculator [Scientific Calculator (Middle School) or TI-84 Graphing Calculator (High School)]
  • One (1) college level dictionary
  • One (1) college level thesaurus
  • One (1) combination lock for Phys. Ed.
